First Time Here?

What to Expect

Welcome to Destiny Church! If you are checking us out for the first time, we know you will have plenty of questions! What kind of church are we? What are services like? Is there a dress code? All of these things are answered below.

What Kind of Church is Destiny?

We are a Bible-based, Christ-centered, Spirit Empowered church that embraces people from all backgrounds.  We have a great passion for God’s presence – that is a non-negotiable for us.

When are Services?

Our main worship service begins at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings. During our service we have programs for children of all ages- from birth through 6th grade.

What is the Service Like?

Our desire is for people to encounter God in a life changing way! We want every person to walk away from our services knowing that God is real and that he has the power to transform their lives. Our service begins with engaging, uplifting contemporary worship. At the end of the worship time, our altars are open for prayer and our prayer team is ready to pray with you about anything. After prayer, we receive an offering and give announcements. Finally, our pastor presents a powerful, encouraging bible-based message. Our hope is that at every service you will encounter God in a real and powerful way!

What About Dress?

We have no dress code here. Now it is definitely necessary that you wear clothes, just come as you are. Many people wear jeans and a t-shirt, while others wear a dress or a suit and a tie. Come as you are, no need to be fancy or dress a certain way.

What About My Kids?

We love kids and we do everything we can for your kids to have a great experience here at Destiny Church. We believe that children are the church of today and we aim to equip your children to know God, grow in maturity, show God’s work in their lives! We have programs for children ages birth through 6th grade. To learn more about those programs click HERE.

What About Communion?

At Destiny Church we practice open communion. You do not have to be a member of our church to partake with us. We only ask that you have accepted Jesus as Lord to participate. We serve communion on the 4th Sunday of the month during worship.
